Celebrating One Year with Our Apprentices

This month marks a big milestone for Dylan, Julian and Joe, as they celebrate one year with Patriot International as apprentices.

To mark the occasion, we caught up with them in the workshop at Patriot’s Aberdeen site to hear more about their first year and see how their development has progressed.

Since joining the team, Dylan, Julian and Joe have spent time across the workshop, getting familiar with day-to-day operations, preparing equipment and taking part in practical training sessions as part of their development.

A key part of their learning has been working alongside Technical Training Instructor Colin, Workshop Manager Roy and Leak Seal and Pipe Intervention Lead Jim. Spending time with experienced technicians on a regular basis has helped them build confidence and develop a stronger understanding of how different services come together on live projects.

The apprenticeship programme is centred around real industry exposure, combining workshop-based learning with structured guidance and hands-on experience alongside colleagues who have spent years working in the field.

Over the past year, it has been great to see the progress Dylan, Julian and Joe have made as they continue to develop their skills and understanding of the industry.
