The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Trainer/Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training courses, developing engaging training materials, and conducting assessments to ensure our learners meet the required industry standards, always keeping Health and Safety as a priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training courses to diverse groups of learners

• Design, develop, and update training materials and course content

• Conduct examinations and assessments in accordance with awarding body requirements

• Invigilate examinations and ensure compliance with testing protocols

• Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback

• Maintain accurate training records and documentation

• Support the continuous improvement of our training programmes

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering technical training courses

• Demonstrated ability in creating and developing training materials

• Previous experience as an examinator and/or invigilator

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Commitment to maintaining professional standards

Qualifications

• Relevant MJI/TMJI/OSM  background and qualifications

• Desired/not essential – Site based experience

• Desired/ not essential - Level 3 teacher training and assessor’s award

• Desire/not essential - Relevant Mechanical qualifications
