Safety-focused Pressure Testing Technicians to carry out hydrostatic and pneumatic testing on piping, vessels, hoses and systems

Reports To: Team Lead, MCCS Division

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Pressure Testing Technicians to perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing on piping, vessels, hoses, and associated systems. This role is critical to ensuring system integrity, compliance, and safe commissioning across industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing in accordance with procedures and standards
  • Set up test equipment including pumps, gauges, hoses, and manifolds
  • Verify test boundaries, isolation points, and pressure ratings
  • Monitor pressure levels, identify leaks, and record test results
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and site requirements
  • Complete test packs, reports, and documentation accurately
  • Maintain and inspect pressure testing equipment
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, inspectors, and client representatives
  • Support commissioning and shutdown activities as required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in pressure testing or a related mechanical role
  • Knowledge of piping systems, valves, flanges, and pressure ratings
  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs, isometrics, and test procedures
  • Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shutdowns and night shifts

Qualifications (Required / Desirable)

  • Trade qualification or mechanical background (desirable)
  • Pressure testing certification or relevant industry training
  • Confined space, working at heights, and first aid tickets (desirable)
  • Valid driver’s license
